About me

I’ve been curious and creative for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I was drawn to making things with my hands and teaching myself how garments came together. I learned to sew on my own, always knowing I could do better — and wanting to understand more.

That curiosity led me to pursue formal training in fashion, where I strengthened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of design and construction. Today, I continue to grow through hands-on creation, experimentation, and storytelling through garments.

I also have a deep love for film — especially the costumes and wardrobe design that bring characters to life. The way garments move on screen, tell stories, and capture emotion is where much of my inspiration comes from. I believe clothing holds memory and meaning, and I strive to create pieces that feel timeless rather than trend-driven.

My work blends craftsmanship, emotion, and intention — honoring tradition while creating space for modern expression.

A little of my background

I was born in California and raised in Las Vegas, carrying with me a strong connection to my family’s roots in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Growing up, I was a shy and quiet girl, often filled with questions but too nervous to speak, afraid of being wrong. That inner world shaped my creative voice — observing more than speaking, learning through watching, and developing a strong drive toward perfectionism. Over time, that quiet determination became discipline, and that discipline became design.

My grandparents, Teresa and Amador, met while working in a factory making pants — she adding trims and finishing details, and he constructing garments on the production floor. One day, Amador made Teresa a pair of pants himself. From that moment, their story began.

They later married, and Amador went on to build a home for his family and establish his own business in car mechanics. Together they raised three children, including my mother. Amador was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather — a hardworking man who led with quiet strength and cared deeply for his family.

He passed away too soon, but his legacy lives on through my work.

My first collection is named in his honor — a tribute to craftsmanship, perseverance, and love — the same values that guide me as a designer today.
